Im Matthew, AKA malakai. I like to draw people for fun, and I found this forum via DDNN. I was going to register THERE, but the forum looked really inactive, so I looked in the affiliates list, and this one looked cool

I also saw some people here making games and im kind of curious on how you made them

So I should try game maker if I want to make games? Sounds too easy. I mean come one its called Game Maker, its like a magnet for idiots "hey look this will make my game for me duuurrr" unless you actually have to work then it sounds kind of bad

Its pretty useful, involves coding, but the peeps that cant do have their little drag n drop options

And yeah lol that sounds a bit like what i thought of it too, its not like that though.

does it use C+ coding? I know some of that.

know, i mean just a bunch of random scripts gamemaker made up to make what you want to do take less memory : P

some of the things you can only do can only be used with script though.

like the password system on my game, it was made with script.

maybe I can make something with C+ because apparently it has a built in sintax checker or at least I coud make something thats sort of C+, it looks really similar.

welcome malakai. glad to see we have some new members. and i suggest not trying to use gm. its easy to use, but.. not good. try somethin like flash.

flash? hucota wtf? to make flash games it would take like years by yourself. he would need a flash crew, besides hes more familiar with script
